Spots Overview

Learn the basics of Spots and how to manage your business locations in Tabletail.

As explained in the Entity names used in the platform and documentation section, a Spot represents your business location — such as a restaurant, hotel, café, or bar.
In short, a Spot is your store or venue within the Tabletail ecosystem.

Creating a New Spot

To create a new Spot, you need to have an active subscription.
Once your subscription is active, go to Accounts → Partners → Connected Spots and click Create Spot.

Fill out the basic details about your business, such as the name, category, and address.
After creation, you’ll see your new Spot listed.

Working as Staff on a Spot

You don’t need a subscription to work as staff at a Spot.
If you’re invited by a Spot owner, simply create a free Tabletail account.
Once registered, your invited Spot will appear under Connected Spots in your dashboard.

Joining a Spot as Staff

To join a Spot, the owner must invite you by entering your email address.
Depending on your situation:

  • If you’re new to Tabletail, you’ll receive an email with a registration link and instructions.
  • If you’re already a Tabletail user, you’ll receive an invitation notification to accept directly.

Once accepted, the Spot will automatically appear in your linked spots list.

Can’t See an Invited Spot?

If you’ve been invited but can’t see the Spot in your dashboard, it could mean:

  • The Spot owner disabled your access temporarily.
  • The Spot is currently in a grace period (e.g., expired subscription or maintenance).

You don’t need to take any action — the Spot owner will be notified via email when reactivation is needed.

Zero Risk. Maximum Impact.
